The Palate is filled with soft ripe strawberry fruit flavors with a hint apple and pear. Voluptuous in the mouth with a silky texture and the sort of fresh, fruity body with crisp acidity and a clean finish. This wine is ideal as an aperitif with hors d’oeuvre or to accompany light fish and poultry dishes. This style of wine is best enjoyed when it is fresh and young. La Capitana Chardonnay Chardonnay 100% (estate grown) from the Cachapoal Valley with a nose of tropical fruit such as guava, mango, and cherimoya, with crisp flavours of mineral, vanilla, and grapefruit. The palate is a rich and generous structure of ripe fruit: magnificent tropical fruit such as guava and mango, with hints of vanilla and honey. This well balanced wine is matured for 9 months in one year old French oak barrels, providing a long refreshing finish. Delicious with most fish and seafood dishes, pasta with creamy sauces, and cheese. La Palma Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot (Estate grown) from the Cachapoal Valley. This beautiful blend is filled with aromas of berry, strawberries and mint, with a well rounded palate of intense fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries and currants. Pair this wine with red meats, stews, roasted duck, pork loin, and aged cheese La Capitana Merlot 85% Merlot, 10% Carmenère and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon (estate grown) from the Cachapoal Valley. This Merlot has delightful aromas packed with sweet plum, blackberries & _mocha coffee. A complex nose with sweet vanilla from 9 months of oak maturation. Full-bodied, with creamy hint of oak, traces of chocolate and plum, and has a velvety smooth but lingering finish La Capitana Carmenère The signature wine of Chile, this 100% Carmenère (Estate grown) from the Cachapoal Valley has a nose filled with attractive varietal characters of spicy plums, cherries and blueberry. The
palate is a well rounded structure with plums and subtle vanilla _mocha and spicy oak.
