Manent
Viu Manent is one of Chiles leading wineries from the
D.O. Colchagua Valley, from where our wines are exclusively produced. Grapes are harvested from selected areas of the vineyards; possessing the finest varietal aromas,
ripeness and richness. The wines exhibit a generous body, volume, and long after taste with smooth and elegant tannins. Aged in oak barrels, special care is taken in maintaining the balance between fruit and wood.
Viu Manent Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
Pungent herbaceous notes dominate on the nose giving way to riper more tropical melon, passionfruit and nectarine flavours in the mouth. A bright, zesty acidity imparts excellent structure and length.
This wine is ideal on it’s own as an aperitif but also great with fresh tapenade, feta, sundried tomatoes, kalamata olives, air-dried hams and pesto based pasta dishes.
Viu Manent Reserve Chardonnay
On the nose this complex wine displays lifted notes of nectarine, melon, and pineapple along with classic Chardonnay aromas of honey and toast. In the mouth it is full and rich with a zingy citrus flavor profile giving
way to biscuity oak and a long creamy finish. This wine is perfect paired with white meats, Pacific salmon, game birds, and mild-flavored soft cheeses.
Viu Manent Reserve Merlot
Deep ruby red in color, this wine unleashes a startling concentration of opulent licorice and black cherry on the nose. This is followed in the mouth by lashings of boysenberry, tar and leather with a palate rounded out
by soft, sweet, round tannins. Enjoy with gamey strong flavored meats such as venison and wild boar along with flavorsome dishes such as chicken breasts stuffed with feta.
Viu Manent Reserve Carmenere
Deep red in color this wine bursts forth with a nose of plum, figs and dark chocolate. In the mouth notes of sage, cedar, black tea and leather marry perfectly with a well integrated oak backbone to give a long and well
balanced wine. Enjoy with roasted strong flavored meats such as venison, beef and duck. It is also a great accompaniment to spinach pastas with richly flavored tomato sauces and creamy blue cheeses.
Viu Manent Reserve Malbec
Intense purple in color, on the nose this wine exhibits exuberant notes of currant, plum, dark chocolate and mocha. In the mouth opulent notes of boysenberry, leather and tar marry with rich, svelte tannins to give a
long, generous finish. Enjoy with wild mushroom dishes and grilled onions. Also delicious with goose and cranberry salads and soft strongly flavored washed rind cheeses such as Roquefort.
